Botanical Cyanotype for Beginners
Learn wet and dry cyanotype techniques in this fun introductory session.
Service Description
Cyanotype printing is a unique and beautiful art form that is relatively easy to create. You just need to know how to use the chemically treated papers and fabrics to create fabulous effects. During this morning workshop, your tutor will demonstrate how to prepare your substrates. You will be shown how to prepare your designs using natural materials plus there will be the opportunity (weather permitting) to find inspiration from the lovely Grenaby yard. You will print: a bookmark a greetings card a small print to take home to frame a mini (3" approx) cotton drawstring bag (suitable for holding herbs to place in your wardrobe or chest of drawers) Cyanotype is dependent on using UV rays so if the sun decides not to play - the studio has a UV lamp to ensure you get to take home your completed art work on the day.

Deposits are non-refundable but I’m happy to transfer. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. If you are unwell on the morning of your session, please let us know as soon as possible. We are unable to offer refunds if you are unable to attend on the day but you will be sent the samples made during the session so you don’t miss out.
