Each platter is unique. I hand paint each branch using specialist stained glass enamel paints, then encase this between two sheets of art glass. Pre-made berries are placed on the branches before the piece being fired at 780 C.

After a 20 hours, the glass can safely be removed from the kiln, where it is washed, filed and dried before being returned to the kiln in special moulds. Fired to a lower temperature and annealed appropriately, the glass still needs to be in the kiln for around 15 hours before it can be removed safely.

Perfect for displaying nibbles or candles.
